The Gulf of Baratti
Bagno Baratti is located at the centre of the gulf of the same name next to a charming and characteristic pine forest. In addition to the services of an equipped beach and a snack bar, it boasts proximity to sites of historical and natural interest such as the Archaeological Park of Baratti and Populonia, various museums and scenic and naturalistic pathways.
The Gulf of Baratti is located in Tuscany on the Etruscan Coast in the Municipality of Piombino and is bathed by the Ligurian Sea. It is characterised by a sandy beach with golden hues, the result of the residue from iron working in ancient times.
The area of the Gulf of Baratti was the site of one of the most important settlements of Etruscan civilisation, the ancient city of Populonia.
A unique example of an urbanised Etruscan coastal settlement.
We offer our customers the best beach and sea equipment.
Our snack bar is conveniently located at the end of the beach, behind it, there is a centuries-old pine forest of umbrella pines that offers shelter from the summer heat and that makes your stay pleasant, even for families with small children.
For a comfortable but enjoyable stay!
