Baratti Parking Areas
Just a few steps from Bagno Baratti, there are two convenient paid parking areas located along the access road to the Gulf. Both areas allow you to easily reach the beach club and the beach with a short walk, offering a practical solution to leave your car and enjoy a peaceful day by the sea, surrounded by nature.
How to pay for parking in Baratti
Parking in the Gulf of Baratti car parks can be paid for using the automatic parking meters, available both at the entrance and within the different parking areas.
Caldanelle Parking Area
The paid parking area at Caldanelle is a convenient solution for those who wish to reach Baratti beach without worrying about parking in the areas closest to the sea. From the car park, a practical shuttle service is available to take guests to the Gulf, allowing them to start their day in an easy and relaxed way.
Free Ecobarattibus Shuttle
From 11 June to 14 September, the 15E Ecobarattibus line connects the Caldanelle car park with the beaches and Baratti Park every day. The service runs from 8:40 a.m. to 7:40 p.m., with frequent rides throughout the day. Thanks to the contribution of the Municipality of Piombino, both the shuttle service and parking at Caldanelle are completely free of charge.
Parking Pass
Opening of coastal car parks and Parking Pass 2026
From 28 March to 4 October 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., parking in the areas of the Gulf of Baratti and the Sterpaia Coastal Park is subject to payment.
Different Parking Pass options are available for non-residents:
- 3 days: €25
- 1 week: €50
- 1 month: €100
The permit is entirely digital and linked to the vehicle’s license plate, so there is no need to display any paper ticket.
